Torrent cracker gets pwned

HD-bits.ro é um bom torrent tracker, com vários filmes e sérires em HD sendo compartilhados por uma comunidade de amigos, q doam seu tempo e bandwidth ajudando outros amigos a terem acesso a videos de qualidade. Os mais beneficiados são gente como os brasileros, q de outra forma naum tem como ter acesso a filmes em HD, por sermos um país atrasado tecnologicamente com população pobre financeiramente.

Aí algum script kiddie metido a cracker resolveu tentar colocar esse private tracker down, mandando ataques DDoS pra derrubar o server deles. Só q felizmente a staff to tracker é constituída de gente experiente, e a cada ataque eles conseguem burlar o DDoS e colocar o site de volta, dizimando a expectativa do zé mané, q sempre volta pra tentar de novo só pra levar outra ownada e ver o site no ar numa boa.

Dessa vez o roflcopter69 colocou um announcement com uma mensagem pra esse script kiddo e pediu pra gente espalhar a msg pra todos os foruns, pra q de alguma forma o mané consiga ler a msg endereçada a ele. Eu estendo o pedido de postar em foruns e posto no meu blog tb

Ok so here's the scenario. I just got out of class. I have a lot of homework. So I crack open a case of Mountain Dew (no seriously, ask my roommate, I drink dew cases at a time) and get to work. After several hours of work, my homework is done, and all I want to do is kick back and watch some good HD movies or TV shows. So I open up firefox, and go to my favourite torrent site, hd-bits.ro. I wait for it to load. And I wait, and I wait, and I wait some more.

But the site never loads, does it? Not again... *sigh* So I log into the server to see why. Oh look, there's my fellow admin, trying to fix the problem as well. So I write him a quick message, telling him I'm gonna try and fix it. I do a little bit of this and a little bit of that. I work my packet magic. And then I try to load up the website again. Works fine now. Yay, I can download my shows and movies again! Woohoo! HD-bits.ro rules!

Only this time, I wasn't really quite done. I know for a fact that the staff on this site work REALLY hard to make the site run smoothly. And I'm getting really tired of seeing some jackass make my friends miserable. Someone thinks they're just having the jolliest time in the world attacking this site that's all about sharing and being part of a loving, caring community. But here's the thing. The attacker thinks he's the toast of the internet what with his AWESOME botnet and LEET Java programming skills (yes, I know you use Java). But he/she really didn't expect someone on the other side to be a hardened Linux veteran with advanced sockets programming knowledge and a preference for writing programs in the C programming language. He/she expected us to sit back and take it. And the worst part is, I really don't think this person knows how badly he/she needs an attitude adjustment, because I don't think he/she is a regular user of this amazing site!

So here's what I'm going to modestly ask you, the member of the hd-bits.ro family, to do for me. PLEASE, go on every forum you have a registered name on, and copy and paste this message, my name, and this website's name into a new post. If we all can just do this for one forum, maybe, just maybe, the stupid ass who likes to be a script kiddie and thinks he's just the coolest thing this side of the Atlantic Ocean will see this message and get the picture. You're weak, you're useless, and you're feeble. I challenge you - do your worst. I stand here ready to take on the floods and the masses, and to teach you quite the lesson all the while. Take a lesson from me - you might be able to learn something.

Be sure when you post on the forums to post in English (sorry, I don't know Romanian), and to tell 'em roflcopter69 from hd-bits.ro sent you. When I google those terms in a week or two, I wanna see progress. Thank you all for doing this. Hopefully, together, we can make this site have an uptime of something much, much better.
